Michael R. Burwell, President, Director, Chief Financial Officer, Redwood Mortgage Corp. (1979 – present). Mr. Michael R. Burwell serves as a General Partner of Redwood Mortgage Investors VI. Mr. Burwell has been the President, Chief Financial Officer of Redwood Mortgage Corp. (Manager of Redwood Mortgage Investors IX, LLC), a general partner of Redwood Mortgage Investors VIII since 1979 and its Principal Accounting Officer since 1986. He serves as Secretary, Treasurer and Principal Accounting Officer of Redwood Mortgage Corp., the manager of Redwood Mortgage Investors IX, LLC. Mr. Burwell also serves as Treasurer and Secretary of Redwood Mortgage Corp. He has been Secretary and Treasurer of A & B Financial Services, Inc. since 1980. He has been President, Secretary and Treasurer of Redwood Group, Ltd. since 1979. He served as a Principal Executive Officer of Gymno Corporation, the manager of Redwood Mortgage Investors IX, LLC and general partner of (Redwood Mortgage Investors VI, Redwood Mortgage Investors VII, Redwood Mortgage Investors VIII). He served Principal Financial Officer, President and Secretary of Gymno Corporation, the manager of Redwood Mortgage Investors IX, LLC from 1986 to September 2011 and served as its Treasurer.
He has been a Director of Redwood Mortgage Corp., the manager of Redwood Mortgage Investors IX, LLC since 1979. He has been Director of The Redwood Group, Ltd. since 1979. He served as a Director of Gymno Corporation, the manager of Redwood Mortgage Investors IX, LLC from 1986 to 2011. He served as Member of Board of Trustees and Treasurer, Mortgage Brokers Institute from 1984 to 1986. He is licensed as a Real Estate Sales Person. Mr. Burwell attended the University of California, at Davis from 1975 to 1979, playing NCAA soccer for three seasons. He is a panelist and has presented on numerous real estate lending topics.
Lorene A. (“Lori”) Randich manages the Loan Department as Executive Vice President of Redwood Mortgage Corp., a private real estate lender located in the San Francisco Bay Area. She’s been with Redwood Mortgage since 1991 and has over 30 years of real estate and lending experience. As EVP; Lori heads the loan sales, origination, marketing. Redwood Mortgage, a leader in the private lending industry, originates real estate loans on a variety of property types including residential, commercial and multifamily. With over $275,000,000 in assets under its control Redwood Mortgage was one of the first private lenders to arrange real estate loans through broker controlled mortgage pools.
Lori holds a BA in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley and is a real estate broker licensed with the California Bureau of Real Estate. She is a member of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (“NAMB”), the California Mortgage Bankers Association (“CMBA”), the California Association of Mortgage Professionals (“CAMP”) and the California Mortgage Association (“CMA”). She has served as a board member and Government Affairs chair for the San Francisco-Peninsula chapter of CAMP and as a Government Affairs vice-chair of the statewide CAMP organization. She also serves on the board of directors of CMA and chairs the Education Committee. She has authored articles and given numerous presentations on a wide variety of topics of interest to the mortgage industry.
Steve Belleville, MBA, is Director of Sales and Marketing at Redwood Mortgage (2015 – present). Mr. Belleville oversees originations of commercial loans, multi-family loans and residential investment property loans. Prior to working at Redwood Mortgage, Mr. Belleville was a senior manager at a fund management company, served as VP of commercial lending and branch manager for a Bay Area mortgage banking company covering three offices.
Prior to his employment in the mortgage banking industry Mr. Belleville worked in the computer electronics industry for 18 years and last held the position of General Manager of a $200M business unit for a fortune 500 company.
Steve Belleville serves on the Board of Directors for the California Mortgage Association. Mr. Belleville holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from UCLA and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
Steve has written a number of articles for Industry magazines and has spoken on panels covering topics related to the mortgage industry.
